The hospital should house 104 residents but is presently overcrowded, with 204 residents currently living there. The hospital is kept clean and bright, and the residents are well fed. Residents range from the very elderly through to those with physical, psychological and mental problems, the passive and the violent.
About three years ago, the hospital was under threat of closure, then there was increased funding expected for staffing, but this did not appear to happen. Seemingly, the staffing ratio to patients is very difficult and the staff constantly seems to be working under pressure.
Razbioeni Hospital has received input from Muzika since 1997. Fundatia de Sprijin Comunitar from Bacau Impart team is also in touch with the hospital when Muzika is not there.
